Our nation has witnessed a great historic event. The first black man to be elected to the highest office of our country. President-elect Obama is to be congratulated on his accomplishment, and given all the honor the office of president deserves.
As Christians, we must keep in mind that President-elect Obama is probably the most liberal person who has ever ascended to this office. His position on abortion, his stand for the homosexual agenda, his views on entitlements and government supported programs, and his incognizant foreign policy could move this country in to an era that may transform the very fiber of what the founding fathers envisioned.
As Christians, we must remember we are to keep the faith, we are to pray for those in authority, and we are to continue our mission, The Great Commission. God remains in control, God is unfolding His plan for our country, God uses every thing for His purpose, and we need to step up and double our efforts in prayer and reaching the lost to ensure we are fulfilling our purpose in God’s will.Please, make a commitment to join us in prayer every day for our president, that he will bow down to God and seek His will in all things. Also, that as Christians, we will boldly display and share the truth with the world.

Election 2008
Every election the pundits say is the most important election. Maybe they are right in so much as each presidency brings us a step closer to losing our national identity as defined by those who brought this country in to existence. The lines of political parties and platforms intercede more and more until our vision is so blurred by minor person characteristics and appearance we over look the over riding issues that wait to destroy this country.
Hold up each candidate to the light of God's word and see which one shines and which one withers.
