Hello : My name is Phil. I'm on medical stress leave from a job that destroyed my life and my faith. Since I've been off work, the Lord has restored my faith. The problem is my doctor will only give me till the end of this month off. Please pray that God will make a way for me so I won't have to go back to that terrible place that broke me. I've been looking for another job, but haven't found one yet. When April 1st arrives, I was planning on resigning from my job and trusting God to provide for my wife and I. Please pray that God will take care of us and supply us with the finances we will need.

Pray, fast and intercede for Peter E, unsaved who is terribly ill. Pray for the salvation of Peter and his family since all are unsaved. Peter got ill a couple of weeks ago and has been thru several surgical procedures, rehabilitation, and is in intensive care. He has been closed to death in multiple occasions. PRAISE REPORT

Thank you for your continued prayer for my mother-in-law, Sue Terry. She is improving and has been moved to Golden Living Center for physical therapy/rehab and will be there 4 to 8 weeks. Her kidney function has improved to 20% and they got her up sitting in a chair. Sue heard they had Bingo 3 times a week there and can't wait to go. Praise God for such a BIG turn around. Thank you again!

PANCAKE BREAKFAST

The Kiwanis Club of Pike County, and the 2010 Leadership Pike Class, will host a pancake breakfast fundraiser the morning of baseball opening day. The breakfast will be held at the Old Middle School a/k/a The Resource Center from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. All you can eat pancakes and sausage. Tickets are $5.00, and may be purchased at Parks & Recreation, the Chamber of Commerce, or from any Pike Kiwanis member. The proceeds from the breakfast will benefit the Pike County Baseball Association, to be used to fund scholarships. Additionally, the breakfast will benefit the 2010 Leadership Pike Class project, which is a project designed to start a media program at Pike County High School. The Kiwanis Club of Pike will also benefit from the fundraiser, and will use the money raised to fund their numerous programs, including the Bringing Up Grades program for 3rd grade students at Pike County Elementary. Thank you for supporting these organizations by attending the pancake breakfast.

Amanda (Mandy) Carver Smith, 34 yrs. old, is in Intensive Care at the Coliseum Park Hospital, Macon, in critical condition. She has double pneumonia and is on a ventilator at 100%.
Mandy has a 4 year old daughter, Madison. Mandy and Madison live with Shelia and Johnny. This is such a devestating situation. Please send this out and ask for everyone's prayers.

PRAISE REPORT

I want to first Thank you so much for all your prayers. Late Sunday afternoon I got word that Sue Terry is improving, kidney levels are up to 15% and won't have to have dialysis. No need for hospice now. She will be going to a rehab facility this week for 6 to 8 weeks until she regains strength and mobility. Sue was more alert Saturday when I was there than she's been in the last 2 weeks.
Please continue you to keep her in your prayers.

Prayer Event for Our Military

Pike County American Legion Post 197 and Prayer Power of Georgia will sponsor a monthly time at the Veteran’s Memorial on the Pike County Courthouse grounds, this time will be to offer thanks and prayers for the men and women serving in our Military. The first Monday of each month at 12:00 pm (noon) starting March 1, 2010, you are invited to gather at the Veteran’s Memorial for a focused time to remember our fallen heroes, honor those who have served, and seek protection for those who are serving. Pike County American Legion Post #197 will provide the military circumstances to recognize and honor our military, while Prayer Power of Georgia will provide the spiritual support.
All are invited to participate.

Can you please say prayers for Eddie O’Hayre. He is a friend of my daughters and lives in Mooresville, NC. He was laid off from Jr. Motorsports (Dale Earnhart, Jr) Racing in December. Eddie fell off his roof yesterday while doing repair and will have surgery today. It is very serious. He is married and has two children.

She is in the hospital now and the Dr .is saying that her kidneys are only working at 10% at best, she will either have to go on dialysis or wait for total kidney failure. Prayer has been requested for the Pike County School System. Many hard decisions will have to be made over the next several weeks and months that will effect everyone involved in the school system.

Please pray for Emmalee Grace. She's a 5 month old just diagnosed with atypical teratoid rhabdoid tumor (AT/RT) which is a lethal infant cancer. These tumors came up in a matter of days. She lives in Kentucky & is the granddaughter of Bill's 1st cousin. They're currently at Kosair in Kentucky where they've begun 3 types of chemo. They will travel to Cincinnati, OH on Tuesday to meet with an AT/RT specialist. Please pray for the doctors, Emmalee, parents, & grandparents.

Hello all, please pray for for us. We are a family of mother and twelve children. Our brother was shot at close range in the head and died on the spot. There was only one witness...our mother! Please pray for us, for this senseless crime in a little country called Belize. My poor mother cradled her dying son on the ground in a pool of Blood, but he was gone. This is very devastated for us, since our father passed some twenty something years ago, and since then we made it to now. "Please pray for Karen Stanfield because she is in a lot of pain. She teaches with me. Here is her request:
There is a disk in my lower back that has slipped completely out. It is on the nerve. I am having trouble urinating and the pain is shooting down my leg. The pain is unbelievable. I am unable to walk without severe pain. My left leg has gone numb and at this point I am just dragging it. I am in severe pain, and, at this point, I cannot walk because the pain is so bad. Please pray. I have an appointment on Tuesday, I am not sure how I will make it until then. Pray that he will be able to operate immediately."
